External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visits Konark Sun Temple
Ahead of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Odisha, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visited the Konark Sun Temple and Interpretation Centre on Tuesday.
Jaishankar, who holds the portfolio for India’s foreign relations, began his cultural sojourn at the Interpretation Centre in Konark. The centre offers visitors insights into the historical and cultural significance of Konark, providing a deeper understanding of the regional heritage.
Meanwhile, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) from across the globe have gathered in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, to partake in the annual Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) celebrations. This occasion, aimed at honouring the global Indian community’s contributions, has attracted participants from various nations.

Following their arrival, many of the attendees made a pilgrimage to the revered city of Puri, renowned for its sacred Jagannath Temple. They sought blessings at the shrine of Lord Jagannath, an experience deeply cherished by the visiting diaspora.
