Engineering student crushed under truck wheels in Bhubaneswar

In a tragic incident, an engineering student was crushed under truck wheels in Bhubaneswar

The deceased has been identified as Pratyushparna Das of Rasulgarh. He was an engineering student.  

According to sources, Das was riding a scooter near Sahid Nagar area when the truck ran over him. As a result, the rider died on the spot. 

Before the onlookers could stop the truck, it escaped from the spot. Later, he was detained by the police. 

“The youth was riding the scooter when he came in front of a truck which was coming from behind. As a result, the truck ran over his head and fled from the scene,” said an onlooker. 

On being informed, the police reached the spot, seized the body, and initiated a probe into the matter.
