The East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Tuesday announced a change in the days of run for the 20835/20836 Puri–Rourkela–Puri Vande Bharat Express.
The train will now remain non-operational on Tuesdays instead of Saturdays. The announcement will be effective from June 3, 2025.
As per the announcement, the train will start running on Saturdays from June 7, 2025, onward.
However, there will be no changes in the existing timings and scheduled stoppages of the train at any station.

Earlier last month, Bhubaneswar New Railway Station (BBSN) became the full-time hub for three major express trains, marking a pivotal shift in Odisha’s rail infrastructure.
The East Coast Railway (ECoR) confirmed that the Konark Express (Mumbai route), Visakha Express (Secunderabad route), and Visakhapatnam Intercity Express will originate and terminate at BBSN.
This move aims to decongest Bhubaneswar’s main station, streamline travel for North Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Barang residents, and catalyse regional development.
