E-KYC verification for ration cards to be completed in 15-20 days: Odisha Minister 

The e-KYC verification process for ration cards will be completed in the next 15 to 20 days, said Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra on Thursday. 

While informing about the status of the verification process, Minister Patra said, “The e-KYC verification of around 2.30 crore people has been completed and the same of around one crore people is remaining. In the next 15 to 20 days, the process will be over. Once completed, we will issue new ration cards to beneficiaries.”

He also expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for extending the tenure of the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana till 2028.

“On behalf of the state, I would like to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for extending the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana till 2028. We are also considering extending the tenure of the state’s scheme in the same proportionate,” he added.
