Dressed as women in saree, robbers loot teacher in Odisha
Dressed as women in sarees, a few robbers very cunningly fled away with Rs 13600 cash, 10-12gm gold ornaments, and other valuable silver ornaments from a teacher’s house in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district. The whole incident was caught in the CCTV camera installed inside the house.
As per reports, Daitari Bindhani, a teacher by profession lives alone in the house. On Sunday, he had been to Balasore for some medical work and did not return home. Taking advantage of his absence, a few robbers barged into his house after breaking open the main door.
However, sensing that CCTV cameras were installed inside the house, the robbers very cunningly wrapped themselves in sarees. With their faces fully covered in the saree, they then wrapped the CCTV cameras with more sarees.
After all the CCTV cameras were covered and turned in the other direction, the robbers broke open the almirah and fled away with the cash, gold, and silver ornaments. Bindhani returned home on Monday morning only to find his main door, almirah open, and all the valuables missing.
“They have broken the locks of the main door and the indoor room. They even broke open the almirah and have taken away all the valuables. I had kept Rs 13,600 cash, 10-12gm gold ornaments, and other silver ornaments,” alleged the victim teacher.
“Very cunningly, they covered themselves in saree and entered the house. Later, they also covered the CCTV cameras with sarees and committed the crime,” he added.
