Divyang woman patient from Kakatpur goes missing in Cuttack 

A divyang woman patient from Kakatpur of Puri district who came to a private hospital in Cuttack has allegedly gone missing. A complaint in this regard was lodged at Mangalabag Police Station on Monday.

According to the complaint, Mamata Dalua, a mother of two and wife of Sanjay Dalua of Kerandiapal in the Kakatpur area, is mentally challenged. The woman was taken to a private hospital in Cuttack for psychiatric treatment on December 19. After visiting a doctor, she went missing. She was being accompanied by her in-laws.   

As for the incident, Mamata’s brother Sadhab Behera, said, “My sister was taken to a doctor in Cuttack on December 19. Her in-laws were accompanying her at that time. After getting the prescription, Mamata went to buy medicine but did not return to her in-laws who later searched for her, but to no avail. We also searched, but could not trace her.”

Worried over her disappearance, family members filed a missing complaint at Mangalabag Police Station. Her family members have been living in distress while her two children are equally worried, it was stated.     

However, the reaction of the hospital concerned could not be received.
