The much-awaited direct flight services from Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar to Bangkok and Singapore will begin on June 3. 

The advance ticket sales for direct flights with just Rs 15000 round trip commenced today. Low-cost flight operator IndiGo will start the flight service on June 3 with round trips twice a week.

The flight from Bhubaneswar to Singapore will depart at 06:25 am and land at 1:05pm. Similarly, it will leave Singapore at 2:10pm and land in Bhubaneswar at 3:30pm.

Likewise, the flight from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok will depart at around 4:50 pm and land there at 9:10 pm. It will return back at 10:10 pm and reach here at 11:15 pm.

On the other hand, the direct flight service from Bhubaneswar to Dubai will start on May 15. The much-awaited flight services will open the gateway to south-east Asian countries from Odisha.

Earlier, launching the ticket sales on the day of Utkal Diwas, CM Naveen Patnaik had said that this would promote tourism, employment potential and bring more investments and a sea of opportunities in every field.
