The land records of Lord Jagannath will be digitized soon. A decision regarding digitization of land records in and outside Odisha is likely to be taken at the pre-budget meeting of the temple admin to be held on March 17. 

According to the information shared by the temple administration, in Odisha, there is a total of 35,000 acres of land in the name of Lord Jagannath. Out of the total, 20,000 acres of land are in Khordha and Puri districts. According to sources, 2,075 acres of land has already been transferred to the records of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA). 
For the digitisation of land records in the name of Mahaprabhu Jagannath Bije, Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee, a budget of Rs11.4 crore has been set aside. 

Meanwhile, the SJTA informed that the sources of revenue in the current year's budget will include income from uniform policy, the interest on the corpus fund of Rs 800 crore and income from other sources. 

On the expenditure side, SJTA administrator (Development) Ajay Kumar Jena said, “In the budget, major spending will include expenditure on major festivals of the temple including the Rath Yatra, Chandan Yatra, Snana Purnima etc. and remuneration of servitors and employees.”
