Dengue cases cross 100 in Bhubaneswar; cases detected from new areas

It seems that the dengue is fast spreading its tentacles in Bhubaneswar. The total cases of dengue infections have now crossed 100 in the Capital city. Nayapalli IRC village has now turned into a hotspot, said City health officer, Dipak Bisoi.

“Some cases have been detected from Nayapalli, IRC Village, Jayadev Vihar, Salia Sahi, Pokariput, Unit 9 and Unit 3 areas in Bhubaneswar," said Bisoi.

Senior Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials said that fogging operations have already been intensified in different parts of the city.
