As many as six persons were killed in an accident involving multiple vehicles in Keonjhar on Wednesday. Two of the deceased were women.
As per reports, a car was going towards Barbil with five occupants.
At Rimuli bypass under Champua Police limits, the car hit a truck from behind. Later, another truck which was following the car, rammed into the car, resulting in the death of six occupants in the car. It is said that all the deceased belong to a family.
Soon after the accident, locals rushed to the spot. On being informed, police and the Fire Services personnel joined the rescue operation.
Meanwhile, police started an investigation into the accident.
