Another government employee in Odisha has come under vigilance lens for alleged corruption and accumulation of disproportionate assets.

The sleuths of Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday raided the property linked to Nandi Kishore Nath, who works as a junior clerk in the office of Executive Engineer of Rural Works Division in Rourkela of Sundargarh district.

Following the allegations, simultaneous raids were conducted by the sleuths of the anti-corruption bureau. Three DSPs, nine inspectors , one SI and two ASIs and other staff were part of the raids which were carried out at six places in Bhubaneswar, Baragarh, Rourkela and Sambalpur.

Nath’s residential house at Sai Krupa Enclave in Laxmisagar area of Bhubaneswar, his parental house at VSS Nagar in Baragarh district, government residential quarter at Rural Works Colony, Panposh, Rourkela, office chamber in Rourkela and house at Ainthapalli in Sambalpur district were raided.

Moreover, Nath’s relative's house located at Sambalpur also searched by the vigilance officials. Further searches were underway till the filing of the last report.
