Couple in Odisha’s Bolangir found dead in mysterious circumstances

A couple was found dead in mysterious circumstances at Kudapali under Agalpur police limits in Bolangir on Monday. The deceased were identified as Kshirod Bariha and Tarini Bariha.

However, it was not clear if they committed suicide or were murdered. 

As per reports, the body of Kshirod was found hanging from a neem tree on the outskirts of the village on Monday while the body of his wife was lying on the ground. 

On being informed, a team from Agalpur police station reached the spot and seized the bodies for post-mortem. Police have launched an investigation into the incident. During the preliminary investigation, the cops came to know that the couple used to quarrel as Kshirod suspected the fidelity of his wife. 

However, it was not clear if the couple committed suicide at the same time or if the husband killed his wife first before hanging self.

Police carried out further investigation into the matter with the help of a forensic team.
