Community spirit shines as IMFA collects 300 units of blood ahead of 63rd Foundation Day

On the eve of Dr. Bansidhar Panda's birth anniversary, IMFA held a blood donation camp at Choudwar plant, collecting 300 units. The event, managed by its CSR wing, highlighted IMFA's dedication to community welfare.

Ahead of the birth anniversary of late Dr. Bansidhar Panda and the 63rd Foundation Day of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA) on November 26, a blood donation camp was organised at the Choudwar plant premises on Saturday.

This initiative was managed by the Bansidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF), the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing of IMFA.

The blood donation camp witnessed active participation from IMFA employees and members of the local community, who volunteered to donate blood on the occasion.

As many as 300 units of blood were collected during the special blood donation drive which showcased a commendable spirit of service and responsibility towards society.

“Our Founder late Dr. Bansidhar Panda’s birth anniversary is on November 26 and on this occasion, we have organised a blood donation camp. Over 300 units of blood were collected during the event,” IMFA public relations officer (PRO) Dhruba Charan Rout said.

Sabitri Palei, a lady donor said, “A blood donation camp was organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of late Dr. Bansidhar Panda. IMFA Foundation Day will be observed on November 26. More than 300 persons have donated blood.”

IMFA continues to uphold its commitment to social welfare by conducting impactful initiatives that contribute to community well-being and sustainable development.
