While the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators are cornering the government on various issues in the Odisha Legislative Assembly during the ongoing Monsoon Session, party MLA Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia on Monday wished to know why the government is not making the report of the Commission on Srimandir Ratna Bhandar missing key public.

Raising the issue of the missing key of Srimandir Ratna Bhandar, Jashipur MLA Khuntia sought to know why the government is buying time to make the commission report public. He also wished to know how many commissions have so far been formed, and how many reports have so far been received and what steps the government has taken to make them public.

In reply, Odisha MoS Home, Tusharkanti Behera said that the government has received the commission report on Ratna Bhandar's missing key and the same is being reviewed.

"So far, the government has formed commissions in 24 cases. Of them, the government has received 20 final reports and one interim report out of which, 13 reports have already been tabled in the House," he said.
