Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena
Amid discussions over the change of colour of the LAccMI buses, Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena on Tuesday said that the State Transport Corporation's original colours have been used and there is nothing political in it.
.“There is no question of changing the colour of LAccMI buses as no paint was on them. Stickers & party symbols were pasted on them. When the party symbols were peeled off, other stickers came off too. It seems to me that they would have peeled off the stickers and discontinued the service,” said Jena.

“Years ago, the colour of state transport buses was orange. Hence, we have reverted to that colour and there is nothing political and party-related in it,” he added.
When asked about the installation of CCTV cameras in buses, he said, “After the Nirbhaya incident, there has been a direction regarding the installation of CCTV cameras. We will soon install CCTV cameras on buses. In this regard, our discussion is underway.”
