As a mark of respect, all classes were suspended for the day in her memory. Student organisations gathered outside the college gate to pay floral tributes and observe silence in her honour.

The incident has left the academic atmosphere heavy with sorrow and unrest, especially as the ongoing +3 admission process was disrupted. Many aspiring students who had come to seek admission were forced to return due to the sudden closure.

Speaking on the development, the college official said the closure was carried out as per government instruction, and fresh admission dates would be announced soon for the affected students.

“We are deeply saddened by the demise of her. We extend our deep condolences to her family. We demand stringent action against all culprits,” said a member of AIDSO.

Echoing the same, another person said, “We cannot even imagine what pain she had gone through. Those who are responsible for her deaths should be punished. We also condemn the arrest of student leaders. This is undemocratic.”
