Days after an Odia girl earned appreciation for reading the speech of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at DRDO Bhawan in Delhi, a Class VIII student stole the show with his vote of thanks at the World Odia Language Conference in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

Even though the ongoing World Odia Language Conference at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar has been extended for three days, the pre-decided vote of thanks was held on Tuesday. While there were guests including Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on the dais, the job of giving a vote of thanks was entrusted to Siddhant Kumar Sahu, son of a Kulfi businessman, studying in Class VIII.

While all were waiting to see if the decision was right or not, Siddhant left all hooked with an impactful vote of thanks speech in Odia.
In an X (formerly Twitter) post, the Chief Minister's Office heaped praises on him for his powerful vote of thanks speech.
