The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Cuttack, Odisha has already released the detailed timetable for Summative Assessment-II of Class 10. The matriculation examination will be held between March 10 and March 20, 2023.

School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Sunday said that the department is fully prepared for the upcoming examinations in the state.

Speak to media, Dash said, “Department has made all necessary arrangements and everything is in place for the smooth conduct of Matric examination 2023. Already the Summative Assessment-I exam has been conducted without any hassles. So, I am hopeful that the Summative Assessment-II exams will also be conducted smoothly as the exam centres are almost the same.”

According to Dash, the exam centres have been changed only in a few places. Rest, all the exam centres are almost the same. 

"I can say that the Department is very much prepared for both the matriculation and CHSE exams. All the preparations are also being made for the commencement of Class 9 exams starting from February 20,” the minister added.

The Class 10 examination for madhayama and state open school certificate (SOSC) 2023 (first) will also be held simultaneously. The questions for all categories of students including regular, madhayama and others will remain the same.

The examination centres and nodal centres which were fixed in summative examination 1 will be the same for the summative assessment 2 examinations with little changes in a few centres. As per reports, the assessment of the summative II examination will be similar to the assessment done in the summative examination I.
