The newly-formed BJP government will be completing 100 days in office in Odisha tomorrow. The saffron camp is upbeat and is all set to organise a special programme in Puri to mark the day more special.

Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal on Wednesday said that the party is working to fulfill its promises made to the people of the state ahead of the 2024 polls.

Already several promises like the opening of Puri Srimandir Ratna Bhandar and all four gates, and Subhadra Yojana have been fulfilled. Similarly, the party had promised to take necessary steps to return money to the victims of chit-fund scam in the state, said Samal.

At a presser held in Bhubaneswar, Samal said that the chit-fund duped investors will get back their money soon.

“Already the Odisha government has started the process of returning the money. A Committee has been formed by the state government in this regard. The Committee is examining the legal side and necessary steps will be taken at the earliest,” said Samal.

It is pertinent to mention here that the BJP had made the chit-fund scam a major poll agenda against the previous BJD government.
