Blood-soaked body of Bolangir Chamber of Commerce president found on railway tracks

In a shocking incident, the body of Bolangir Chamber of Commerce president, Tripurari Panigrahi was found in a pool of blood on the railway tracks near Khujenpali under Bolangir Sadar police limits on Monday morning.

The body was first spotted by locals who informed the Government Railway Police (GRP). The officials of the Railway police recovered the body and launched a probe into the case.

As per reports, Panigrahi did not return home last night following which his family members searched him everywhere. This morning, the family members got a call following the recovery of the body. They confirmed it to be of Panigrahi.

Though the exact cause of his death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he might have died after falling from a train. There are rumours of murder as well. It is also suspected that he was killed somewhere and his body was thrown on the railway tracks to look it like an accident.

Senior members of the Chamber of Commerce have demanded a high-level inquiry into the case.
