Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice-President Baijayant Panda reached Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday on his first visit to the state after being appointed as the in-charge for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

Upon his arrival in Lucknow, Panda was accorded a warm welcome by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, state president of BJP Bhupendra Chaudhary and other senior ministers and leaders of the saffron party.

Later, Panda attended the nomination filing of BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi for the Rajya Sabha elections in Lucknow. UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh and others were also present.

As per sources, the BJP National Vice-President is also scheduled to attend a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other senior party leaders.

Notably, BJP’s preparations are in full swing for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Uttar Pradesh. BJP leaders and workers have become more active and they are leaving no stone unturned for the ensuing election.

The appointment of Panda as the poll in-charge is seen as a big responsibility for him as Union Minister Amit Shah was in-charge of Uttar Pradesh during 2014 general polls while party president JP Nadda was the state in-charge during 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
