The newly elected BJP public representatives were given pep talks on how the newly formed government will deliver good governance to the people of Odisha by keeping proper coordination between the party and the government in a special felicitation function in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

The focus of the meeting was the fulfillment of all the earlier assurances promised by the saffron party in its election manifesto. The Chief Minister, the entire Cabinet and as many as three Union Ministers reiterated their commitment to build a new Odisha.

Talking about the mission of the government, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi said that the welfare of the poor will be the main priority. Informed that the government’s 100-day roadmap has already been finalised, he also stated about the special plan on how to keep proper coordination between the party and the government. Meanwhile, the workers of the party were given pep talks by the senior leaders to make the functioning of the government successful.

While addressing the meeting, the CM and the Union Ministers emphasized the mission and priority of the government and how to be in action mode on the ground. The CM has reportedly got tips from the Prime Minister and other Union Ministers in this regard during his Delhi visit.

CM's assurance

CM Majhi assured that all the promises made by the BJP in its election manifesto will be fulfilled soon and a roadmap in this regard has already been prepared. He also said that Ratna Bhandar of Puri Srimandir will be opened soon and Subhadra Yojana will be rolled out on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17.

“There is a question in everybody’s mind. I want to say that Ratna Bhandar will be opened soon. If any irregularities are found, then stern action would be taken against those who will be found guilty and nobody will be spared,” said Majhi.

“We have already started working on the assurances given by BJP. The CM has expressed about the matter in his address. He has given the message that we will fulfill all the promises one by one,” said Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo.

“We will fulfill all our commitments gradually. The much-awaited Subhadra Yojana will be rolled out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17,” said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.

'Coordination between party & government'

Meanwhile, Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal and Union Minister Jual Oram advised the workers on how to maintain coordination between the party and the government.

“People have shown their faith in BJP. We promise that the faith of the people will be kept and we will fulfill all our commitments,” said Samal.

“The way the people of Odisha have showered their blessings and showed their faith in BJP, the onus is on all the workers of the party to fulfill all its promises,” said Oram.
