Hope emerged for four labourers of Rajnagar area in Kendrapara who are stuck in Qatar after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice President, Baijayant Panda wrote a letter to the Indian Ambassador to Qatar requesting their safe return to Odisha. 

According to sources, four youths of Rajnagar area had gone to Qatar in 2021. Even though their contract with the company where they were engaged has been terminated, the said company is not allowing them to leave the country.

Their family members alleged that the company authorities are threatening to implicate them in false cases and send them to jail. 

The worried family members met BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda and requested his assistance for the safe return of the labourers. Subsequently, Baijayant Panda contacted the Ambassador to Qatar, discussed the issue and sought diplomatic intervention to get the labourers released and send them back to Odisha.
