BJP National President JP Nadda’s Odisha visit on June 22 has been postponed by one day, informed party’s Kalahandi MP, Basanta Panda on Tuesday.

Sharing details about the updated itinerary of Nadda’s Odisha visit, Panda said, “JP Nadda will visit Odisha's Kalahandi on June 23 instead of June 22. The visit has been postponed by one day due to some unavoidable circumstances.”

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah's scheduled visit to Odisha was put on hold in view of cyclone Biparjoy which made a landfall in Gujarat on June 15.

Shah was scheduled to visit Dhenkanal on June 17 and address a gathering as part of the party's ‘Jan Sampark Abhiyan’.

As per reports, ahead of the crucial 2024 elections, several key leaders of the BJP are set to hold massive programmes in Odisha as part of their month-long ‘Jan Sampark Abhiyan’.

The mass outreach campaign is being held across the country to mark the completion of nine years of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
