The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has set a target to garner 51 percent vote share during the upcoming 2024 elections in all states, informed Manmohan Samal, the party's Odisha unit president on Monday.

According to Samal, the roadmap was finalised during the two-day meeting of the BJP national office-bearers in New Delhi recently. The state BJP president further informed that separate strategies have been formed for the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Similarly, adequate focus was given on Odisha and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister held discussions till late night during the meeting, he said.

Samal further stated that a detailed discussion was also held on the organisational structure ahead of the crucial polls in Odisha. Apart from this, everybody has been asked to work hard and ensure proper implementation of the strategy at the ground level.

Besides adequate focus on Odisha, there are massive plans in which top Central leaders of the party will visit the state to further strengthen the party’s prospects, Samal added. Similarly, the focus will also be on Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, and other states.
