A Biju Janata Dal's (BJD) office was allegedly ransacked by some unidentified miscreants at Anandapur in Keonjhar district on Saturday night.

According to sources, the miscreants barged into the BJD office managed by the members of the ruling party located near Pouranchal bridge chhak and went on a rampage.

Moreover, the miscreants also ripped down the posters, hoardings and banners of late Chief Minister Biju Patnaik, CM Naveen Patnaik and Jajpur MLA Pranab Das alias Bobby Das, sources informed.

Even the miscreants poured diesel in front of the party office. 

Meanwhile, Anandapur police has launched a probe into the matter after a complaint was filed by the party workers.
