Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters in Bhubaneswar, state BJP vice president, Lekhashree Samantasinghar said, “Democracy has been killed in Odisha. The people of Odisha voted Naveen Patnaik to power. But he has outsourced his office and is making a farce by allowing his personal secretary to move around.”

“From this, it is clearly understood that the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is attaching little importance to democracy. The party is looking down on the people’s representatives. The party is trying to keep its organization intact by allowing a secretary to go around the state, spending taxpayers’ money and misusing the government machinery,” she alleged.

“Yesterday, the 5T secretary took a dig at an MLA. So, it is clearly understood that the 5T secretary is doing everything with a political intention,” she further alleged.

No reactions could be obtained from the BJD.
