Bhubaneswar Water Supply Asst. Project Manager in Vigilance net; search on at 7 locations
Acting on allegations of possession of disproportionate assets beyond known sources of income, Odisha Vigilance officials on Saturday launched simultaneous raids on the properties of Sri Debasis Sahoo, Assistant Project Manager, Odisha Water Supply & Sewerage Board (OWSSB), Bhubaneswar.
The searches are being conducted at multiple locations linked to Sahoo, including premises in Bhubaneswar, Jatni, and Cuttack. The operation is being carried out under the authority of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
A large team, comprising seven Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), nine Inspectors, ten Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and other supporting staff, is involved in the operation.
Raids On At 7 Locations
The vigilance officials are meticulously verifying financial documents, property records, and other assets to ascertain whether they are disproportionate to Sahoo’s known sources of income. The searches are expected to reveal key details regarding the alleged accumulation of wealth. Further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
This raid is part of Odisha Vigilance’s ongoing crackdown on corruption and its commitment to ensuring transparency in public service.

- Two shops at Banadurga Market Complex, Jatni, Khordha.
- House of his relative at Choudwar, Cuttack.
- His office at Bhubaneswar.
