Bhubaneswar Ring Road work to start after DPR completion: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

After the completion of the Detailed Project Reports (DPR), Ring Road work in Bhubaneswar will start, informed Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday.

Answering to an unstarred question of BJD MP Sasmit Patra about details of the construction of the Capital Region Ring Road near Bhubaneswar in Rajya Sabha, Gadkari said that the civil work will start after the completion of DPR.

“The DPR for development of Capital Ring Road around Bhubaneswar city with approx length of 110 km in the State of Odisha has been awarded. The award of civil work can be after the completion of DPR and pre-construction activities depending upon projected traffic, techno-economic viability, availability of funds and inter-se-priority,” said Gadkari.
