Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice President, Baijayant 'Jay' Panda expressed his condolences on the tragic train mishap at Bahanaga in Balasore on Friday evening.

Panda assured that every resource of the Union and state governments is being deployed. Furthermore, he said, “Colleagues in government are on the ground, dealing with the catastrophic accident in Odisha.”

Calling upon a joint effort to deal with this tragedy, Panda tweeted, “Yet this is a moment when all of us must collectively help the victims & their families.”

Panda also offered his help in any possible way. “If there is anything that Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw or Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik need in addition to the efforts the governments are making, from helicopter operations to facilitating medical aid or any other assistance, I am at your service,” he tweeted.

It is pertinent to mention here that, Vaishnaw and Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan are already on the ground zero to take stock of the situation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive at the accident spot soon.
