Bahuda Yatra: 6 devotees including 3 minors injured during chariot pulling in Subarnapur
In a tragic incident, as many as six individuals, including three minors, sustained grievous injuries after they were crushed under the wheels while pulling chariots during Bahuda Yatra celebrations in Binka town of Subarnapur district on Saturday.
As per reports, the mishap took place near the Gundicha Temple in Kansaripada, where the chariots of Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra were being pulled as part of the Bahuda Yatra festivities. While the crowd had gathered to witness the divine return journey of the deities, two minor boys from Kansaripada and one minor boy from Nuapada reportedly came under the wheels of the chariot.
In addition, three other devotees were also injured during the incident, bringing the total number of injured to six. Among them, two minors sustained serious injuries, while one minor and three other individuals suffered relatively minor injuries.

All the injured were immediately rushed to the Binka Community Health Centre for medical treatment. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation closely as the community comes to terms with the unfortunate accident during the otherwise joyous festival.
