Anganwadi workers, helpers can apply for SUBHADRA money: Odisha govt

The Odisha state government, under the leadership of Mohan Majhi, announced that Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, and community resource persons can now apply for SUBHADRA money.

Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers and community resource persons can also apply for SUBHADRA money, the state government announced on Friday. 

The Mohan Majhi-led BJP government had earlier issued SOP and guidelines for SUBHADRA yojana. The fresh announcement stipulates that Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, MBKs, community resource persons, all women employed through outsourcing agencies can apply for SUBHADRA money, provided they fulfil the criteria mentioned in the earlier issued guidelines.

Under SUBHADRA Yojana, an eligible beneficiary will receive Rs 10,000 in two equal instalments of Rs 5000 each year for five years.

Meanwhile, the Department of Women and Child Development issued a Toll-Free number-14678 which will remain open from 6 AM to 10 PM. For any information about the yojana, anyone can call during the given time.
