Billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani, who was recently engaged to Radhika Merchant, visited the pilgrim town Puri on Tuesday to seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath.

Anant landed at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar in the noon and headed straight to Lord Jagannath temple in Puri. He offered prayer and sought the obeisance of the sibling deities at the 12th-century shrine.

Security arrangements were tightened at the airport in view of the visit of the Ambani scion.

Junior Ambani expressed happiness after having darshan of the holy trinity at the temple.

"I am happy that I had a very good darshan of Lord Jagannath. I pray for his blessings," he told the media outside the temple.

He remained inside the main temple for around 10 minutes and offered prayers to the trinity, before visiting Maa Bimala, Maa Laxmi and Mahavir temples, said a servitor.

On Monday, Anant Ambani visited Kamakhya Temple atop the Nilachal Hills in Guwahati and sought the blessings of the Goddess.

On January 19, Anant was formally engaged to Radhika Merchant, daughter of Shaila and Viren Merchant amidst family, friends and revered traditions at the Ambani Residence Antilla in Mumbai.

Mukesh Ambani was seen shaking a leg with his wife Nita Ambani on ‘Deva Deva Namah’ from Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on the occasion.

Many Bollywood and cricketer A-listers attended the engagement ceremony. From superstar Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan, almost all the celebs were present at the party.
