Odia bodybuilder Satyajit Pratihari has made Odisha proud by winning the Mr India title recently. However, instead of resting on his laurel, he is now sweating it hard in the gym to clinch Mr Asia and Mr Universe titles.

With an aim to fly the Tricolour high at the international level, Pratihari has already started preparations for the prestigious bodybuilding championships to be held later this year.

“While the Mr Asia Bodybuilding Championship will be held in Philippines in September, the Mr Universe Body Building Championship will organised in Germany in November this year,” said Pratihari.

Speaking about his preparations for the international-level competition, the Odia body builder said, “I have already started my training as not much time left for the championships. The preparations were easy till national level. The competition level will be very tough when you represent your country at the international platform.”

“While 160 countries will participate in the Mr Universe Bodybuilding Championship, around 100 nations will compete for the title in Mr Asia Body Building Championship,” he added.

Sharing his diet for well-built body, Pratihari said, “I eat 30-35 eggs, 1.5 kg chicken, different vegetables, other supplements to meet the protein need. Besides, I workout for at least 3-4 hours a day.”

“I was a working professional and even served in the Navy. I am primarily focusing on an international title to bring glory to my state and nation. I cannot demand for a job from the State government but I will expect an offer,” Pratihari stated.
