After minister’s ouster, Higher Education Secretary, Bishnupada Sethi transferred

Soon after the ouster of Odisha Higher Education Minister, Rohit Pujari, the Higher Education department Secretary, Bishnupada Secretary was transferred by the State government on Friday.

Sethi was transferred and has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) of the General Administration (GA) department.

As per reports, Aravind Agrawal will replace Sethi as the Higher Education Department Secretary.

It is pertinent to mention here that Rohit Pujari, a senior BJD leader from western Odisha, was dropped from the Odisha cabinet earlier today.

Sources said that Pujari was excluded owing to alleged poor performance of the Higher Education Department which was reviewed by the Chief Minister himself.
