Even ambulances were reportedly found stuck in the traffic jam that stretched several kilometres, turning the commute into hell. Severe patients and their relatives had a tough time as ambulances were stranded on the road for more than half an hour.

Meanwhile, police forcefully took away several Congress workers who were preparing to stage a peaceful protest at Gandhi Square in Odogaon against Pandian’s Nayagarh visit. They have been detained at Odogaon police station.

Meanwhile, Nayagarh District Congress President Ranjit Dash slammed the Odisha government over the chaos caused due to Pandian’s visit.

“Why there is so much chaos and people are suffering due to traffic congestion because of Pandian’s visit. Even ambulances were stranded on the road as police placed curbs on vehicles before two kilometers to facilitate the movement of 5T Secretary. All the makeshift shops along the road have also been evicted in Odogaon. If you are coming to review the developmental activities then why there is so much fear?” asked Dash.
