4 killed in road mishap in Athagarh, 1 critical

Tigiria IIC, Gyana Ranjan Samal said, “The mishap occurred at around 2:30 pm. Five persons were travelling inside the car when it hit a truck coming from the opposite side. Three persons died on the spot while another died on the way to the hospital.”

Road Accident

At least four persons died while another sustained multiple injuries in a deadly road mishap at Nuasadak in Athagarh on Monday. As per sources, five persons were travelling in a car when their vehicle collided with a speeding truck.

Samal said that the critically injured person has been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital.

“The truck driver is absconding after the incident. We will nab him soon. Both the vehicles have been seized. The car occupants had visited Ansupa and after identification of the bodies, things will get clear,” Samal added.

Sources said all the five occupants of the car had left home to visit various places
