37 Odisha police personnel conferred police medals on Republic Day 

On the occasion of the 75th Republic Day, as many as 37 Odisha police personnel were felicitated with police medals. 

While SOG Subedar Prahalad Himirika;  SOG SI (armed) Santosh Kumar Giri, SOG Commando Suneel Kumar Bariha, and DV Bargarh Constable Sujit Kumar Rana received medals for gallantry, ADGP (modernisation) Sanjay Kumar and additional SP (BPSPA) Rabindra Nath Satapathy were felicitated with President’s medal for distinguished service.

The rest 20 police personnel were awarded with Governor’s Medal under Category I, II, III, IV, V, VI and VII.
