30 girl students of Sevashram school in Sundergarh hospitalised

Following the incident, the girl students were immediately rushed to the hospital and were provided necessary treatment by doctors. Some of the students were discharged after treatment at Bonai hospital.

Students Hospitalised in Sundergarh

As many as 30 girl students of Baidyapali Girls’ Sevashram school in Sundergarh district were hospitalised after they complained of stomachache and headache on Saturday.

As per initial reports, after lunch, some of the students complained of vomiting and other stomach-related issues. Following the incident, the girl students were immediately rushed to the hospital and were provided necessary treatment by doctors. Some of the students were discharged after treatment at Bonai hospital.

Dr Prabhat Ranjan Singh said, “Yesterday, a lot of students were brought to the hospital with complaints of stomach-related issues. At present, 13-14 students are undergoing treatment and their condition is stable. Others have been discharged. It is suspected that the problem could be due to food.”
