Two migrant workers from Odisha were found dead near Perambur railway station in the vicinity of Chennai Central, authorities in Tamil Nadu have confirmed. The deceased have been identified as Umesh Pandey and Kunu Banchor, hailing from Hatisalapada village under Balangir Town police limits.

As per reports, the two had travelled to Tamil Nadu in search of work on 1st December. Family members of the two men suspect foul play, alleging that the two youths were murdered in a pre-planned manner.

The bodies were discovered by Chennai Railway Police, who promptly informed the families. The families have since lodged a murder complaint, pressing for a thorough investigation to determine the truth behind their deaths.
