The initiative includes the development of a four-lane road from the Judicial Academy Road to Trisulia, aimed at reducing travel time and increasing accessibility. In addition, the stretch from Judicial Academy Road to Jobra locality will be upgraded to a six-lane road to manage the anticipated increase in traffic flow.

Minister Harichandan assured the public that all essential facilities will be put in place to ensure smooth transit between Cuttack-Bhubaneswar twin cities.

“A stretch of under-construction six-lane road, connecting the Judicial Academy to provide better connectivity to the Bus Terminal, will be extended up to Jobra. Secondly, two new bridges are to be constructed on the Kathajodi River,” the Works Minister stated.

“If the construction of SCB Medical College's second campus will not be completed by 2025, strict actions will be taken against the contract firm concerned, which may include being blacklisted,” the Works Minister warned.

“It was an unfortunate period (during the previous government) when several projects started but were not completed. The process has now to be put an end,” Works Minister Harichandan expressed.
