2 killed in a series of accidents on NH-20 in Keonjhar

At least two persons were killed in a series of accidents on NH-20 near Durapada chhak in Odisha's Keonjhar district.

Another person injured in the mishap has reportedly been admitted to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.

Reportedly, a biker hit a man who was crossing the road at the chhak following which a truck rammed into the bike. The bike soon caught fire.

The biker and the man who was crossing the road succumbed to the injuries. Meanwhile, police have detained the driver of the truck for questioning.

Earlier today, a bus driver succumbed to fatal injuries after the vehicle hit a truck in Angul. besides, over 20 passengers sustained injuries in the mishap.

On Monday, five persons died and scores were injured after the bus they were travelling in skidded off a flyover on NH-16 near Barabati in Jajpur. The bus was carrying over 40 passengers and was on its way from Puri to Haldia.
