13 OAS officers elevated to IAS rank 

The President of India Droupadi Murmu on Friday approved the promotion of 13 Odisha Administrative Officers (OAS) to Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer rank against the available vacancies determined by the Government of India.

According to a notification issued by the State General Administration and Public Grievance department, The promoted officers will remain on probation until further orders. 

The Government will allocate them to the Odisha Cadre, under Rule 5( 1 ) of the lndian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the notification read.

The list of officers who got the promotion are-

• Saroj Kumar Samal
• Manoj Kumar Mohanty
• Saroj Kumar Sethi
• Abanikant Pattanaik
• Sangram Keshari lvlohapatra
• Rajashree Mohanty
• Ganeswar Jena
• Deben Kumar Pradhan
• Trilochan Majhi
• Shakuntala Bindhani
• Laxmi Kanta Pyarelal Pradhan
• Biiay Kumar Dash
