'Institutions like AIIMS in Odisha a result of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's vision'

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha underscored the need for good governance while observing the 99th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Bhubaneswar on Monday. 

President of Odisha BJP, Manmohan Samal spoke at a programme organised to mark former Prime Minister’s birth anniversary on Bhubaneswar AIIMS premises. He garlanded the statue of the saffron stalwart and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid stress on observing the birthday of the former Prime minister as Good Governance Day from the grassroots level to the official level.

He said that the legendary leader during his term as PM set an example for others on how good governance can be ensured. “Atal Bihari Vajpayee during his administration has really shown what good governance can be. All have seen his able and efficient leadership,” he observed.

The BJP leader also said that it is because of the initiative and the able leadership of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, premier health institutions like AIIMS have become a reality in many states including Odisha.
