Cuttack: She has one thing which others will envy, her unwavering passion and dedication to learn and do big in her life. Bishnupriya Swain of the Silver City is certainly an ideal for many who give up on their dreams at the first sight of adversity. But for her, difficulties have only made her resolve to shoot for the stars even more. 

Reeling under acute poverty, Bishnupriya's family has little to afford for her studies. Bright in academics, she has high aims which have given her strength to break all stereotypes of gender, age and occupation.

Bishnupriya who is only 18, currently studies in Plus II Science at Cuttack Shailabala College. Fearing that odds might deal a setback to her higher education, she has taken a step further towards the Atmanirbharta and works as a part-timer in a food delivery company Zomato to earn something to afford for her higher studies and also to help her family in times of need. 

"After the lockdown crisis, I had to face a hard time because of losing home tutorials which were helping me earn something for my studies. When I found an opportunity to work for a food delivery firm, I decided to take the step forward to earn and learn," says Bishnupriya.

But the happiness for Bishnupriya's self-reliance has equally created worries for her safety in the mind of her family members.

Bilasini Swain, Bishnupriya's mother is in all praises for her efforts in making herself strong enough to take up challenges in life from young age. "She has been very understanding from a tender age. I am happy that she has decided to do something big in life but as a mother I am also worried for her safety," says Bilasini
