After IOCL, SBI comes up with advisory for people amid India-Pakistan tension

There seems to be some kind of uneasiness among the people across the country owing to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan. 

Soon after the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) issued an advisory, the State Bank of India (SBI) on Friday also issued a statement which will certainly benefit scores of its customers as well as other bank users.

Taking to its official X handle, SBI wrote, “All our ATMs, CDMs/ADWMs and digital services are fully operational and available for public use.”

Earlier the IOCL too in a tweet informed that there are ample fuel stocks across the country, and its supply lines are operating smoothly.

In its official statement, IOCL reassured the public that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG anywhere in India. The corporation has emphasized that its supply lines are operating smoothly and fuel stocks are adequate to meet the current demand across the nation.

In a public advisory released by Indian Oil Corporation Limited in its official X handle, the company wrote, “#IndianOil has ample fuel stocks across the country and our supply lines are operating smoothly. There is no need for panic buying—fuel and LPG is readily available at all our outlets.”

The company further appealed to consumers to stay calm and avoid unnecessary rush at fuel stations. It highlighted that panic buying can create artificial shortages, strain supply systems, and inconvenience the public. 

“Help us serve you better by staying calm and avoiding unnecessary rush. This will keep our supply lines running seamlessly and ensure uninterrupted fuel access for all,” the advisory added.
