Ranchi-Chennai Flight Makes Emergency Landing At Bhubaneswar Airport

A Chennai-bound flight from Ranchi had to make an emergency landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on Sunday evening.

As per initial sources, the plane was grounded at Bhubaneswar to allow medical treatment to a passenger who was suddenly taken unwell on board.

Air Asia Ranchi to Chennai flight was directed to Bhubaneswar due to a medical emergency. A critically ill patient was transferred to Captain Hospital in the city, news agency ANI quoted the Director of Bhubaneswar Airport as saying.
