President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other leaders on Wednesday extended greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Holi. 

In a tweet, President Murmu said, “On the auspicious occasion of Holi, I extend my greetings and best wishes to all Indians. The festival of Holi symbolizes the vibrant colours and spirit of tolerance in our diverse society. This festival of joy is an opportunity to further promote goodwill and harmony among people. I wish that this unique festival of colours strengthens the feelings of love and brotherhood among all.” 

Prime Minister Modi wished everyone a happy and colourful Holi and wished for joy and happiness in everyone’s life. 

“Many many good wishes for Holi. May your life ever be colourful with joy and enthusiasm. Wishing you all a happy and colourful Holi!” Modi tweeted.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also took to Twitter to extend greetings to people on the occasion of Holi.

Patnaik wrote, "My hearty greetings and best wishes to all on the occasion of Holi. May blessings of Lord Radhagobinda fill the lives of all with happiness and prosperity."

BJP National vice-president Baijayant Panda in his tweet said, “Heartiest greetings and best wishes to you and your relatives on the auspicious occasion of the festival of colour Holi. May this festival fill the lives of all with peace, friendliness, happiness and prosperity.”
