Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that on January 22 evening, the entire country lit Ram Jyoti and celebrated Diwali. In his monthly Radio programme, PM Modi said that the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony in Ayodhya brought crores of people of the country together.

The nation witnessed a collective power on the day of 'Pran Pratishtha, which also forms the basis of our pledge of developed Bharat. In his address Modi said, the governance of Lord Ram was also a source of inspiration for constitution makers. This year marks 75 years of the Indian Constitution, as well as the Supreme Court.

As the Constitution of India was made after such intense brainstorming, it is called a 'Living Document', he said.

While speaking on Padma Awards, Narendra Modi said that the contribution of the Padma Awadees is certainly an inspiration for the country. He said, a large number of people receiving honours are those who are bringing glory to the country in the world of classical dance, classical music, folk dance, theatre and bhajans.

“I am very happy that the system of Padma Awards has completely changed in the last decade. Now it has become the People's Padma,”said Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also lauded the parade held on the occasion of Republic Day.

“The parade on 26th January was amazing. But women's power in the parade is most talked about when the women contingents of Central Security Forces and Delhi Police started marching on the Kartavya path, everyone experienced a sense of pride,” said Modi.
