A massive fire broke out at Delhi AIIMS on Monday. Reportedly, more than six fire tenders are at the spot to douse the flames.

A fire broke out in the endoscopy room of AIIMS. However, all people have been evacuated. All the patients and staff in the vicinity were evacuated safely soon after a fire call was received, informed sources.

"A fire call has been received from the emergency ward of AIIMS at 11.54 hours. Total 8 fire tenders rushed to the site," Delhi Fire Services Director Atul Garg told IANS.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

 

 

 Later in the day, AIIMS Delhi officials informed that no casualties were reported and the fire was brought under control.
